PostSubject: A Memorial   Thu Feb 04, 2010 4:07 pm

if u saw her
her beauty took your breath away

if u heard her
her voice touched down in your soul

if u touched her
her touch brought a sense of peace to your mind

if u spoke to her
her reply brought healing and deliverance

if u prayed with her
her words brought you closer to God

Mission;

February 4. 2010 marks a year since you left us. The reality and finality of your passing struck us like a bolt of lightning.

Unexpected, shocking, painful. Realizing a life without your smile, your encouraging words, your calming aura filled us with dread and disbelief

Though you may no longer be with us in person, you have left numerous mementos that we will forever cherish and value: your unshakable faith, your amazing resilience, your wonderful personality and your calm in the midst of storms.

If word, tears or wishes could bring you back, we would be rejoicing at your return, but lo, your maker wanted you to rest

And whilst we miss you, ewe rejoice that you are in a place free of pain, disappointments and regrets

Till we meet again our Dear AEPAS

fitting for the one we love so deeply that we pretend that she is still in the US. that is why we do not see you everyday or seek advice on work, children, husband, our relationship with God...we pretend and it helps.

we love you. we will never forget your love that was more. we miss you but what you gave us when you were here, remains. we talk about you but know that you taught and prayed for us sufficiently.

the space remains...the tears come...we wish and wish but you are where you need to be-Resting and at PEACE!

thanks a lot Korto...
you are right.. i tell myself that she isnt really dead.. and no more, but in the States, getting treatment and just simply out of communication....

but there are days when reality hits and i have to admit, she will never call me again.. or see my achievements or fuss with me... i miss her.. thinking baout it at times is like scraping an open wound... but, time heals....

Time

They say time heals all wounds
That Time will heal the vacuum, this emptiness,
This void I feel
They say time will make me remember without pain

When will that time be?
Oh how I miss you!
Iwish could turn back the hands of time.
I wish there was more time
Time for granted
Wasted time
Cherished time
Forgotten times

The painful tug of knowing
Of accepting,
The reality, that as much as we wish, yearn, crave
Time has run out
The hour glass is empty

Time
Time
Time, I await you
Heal my pain
Make me remember without tears
Fill my void
Help me smile full real smiles
Help me cherish the time we did have
Time shared
Time, weild your magic
Spin your web
Time, I await you

The pinch of pain
Is never known
Never expected
Till you feel that pierce
That stab
You never know there exists levels of pain
Till you lose one so dear, so close
So cherished

Dull pain
Sharp pain
Aching pain
Throbbing pain
Painful pain
To each, its own twist
Its own tug

Questions arise
Many remain unanswered
Why me? Why her? Why now?

Consumed by grief!
Grasping for breath
Slowly
In, Out, In, Out
Present a brave, stoic, happy façade
Smile! Laugh!

I can’t! Too much pain
It’s so hard to breath
Hard to remember without wincing
The feeling of heavily weighed
Dead weight
The futility of erasing
The ache, deep throbbing ache

This pinch I feel
Was never expected
Or wanted
But feel it I must

What a sweet tribute...Hugs and kisses to both of you.... Unfortunately each and everyone of us has to join this club some time in our lives...Kujumuku.... Nevertheless our departed loved ones continue to live in our hearts, our lives... You never get over the hurt, the pain, but you do learn to cope.....yes with time.....
